After tons of practices and epic jams, we're finally starting to come together with a new sound. We're now in the process of recording our new EP, which should hopefully be out soon. Loads of shows to look forward to, including one on August 19th. Check out our myspace for further info on it. We'll post some recording pics a little later.
Peace.

| New Bio |
[02 May 2006|11:48pm] |
Founded in early 2005, Casca Brigada (at the time Better Off Bueller) consisted of five members. Shortly after their first three originals and one horrible show, they cut down to four, adding guitarist Steven Gray to vocals and switching 2nd guitarist Sean McDonnell to keyboard. They then headed to the studio and made their first recording, Robots Bleed in Bolts and Circuits [E.P.]. Two small shows and a Battle of the Bands victory later, they decided it was time to grow up and move on to more mature music and move out of some old steriotypes; thus renaming themselves to Casca Brigada.
In the studio once more, they are trying to perfect this new maturity on record and are booking shows throughout the Tampa Bay area. With Sean back on guitar, they new album is sure to be full of some nice solo work, some of the oddest chords you'll ever hear, juicy jazz bass lines and intricate odd-tempo drum rhythms. They are giving their all to break through the "music scenes" and past typical critical stereotyping. So come out and show your support!

| We've really gone and done it now... |

Thats right you little bastards out there in this godforsaken cultural wasteland we've come to know as Charlotte County:
From the ashes of boredom and angst came Better Off Bueller - the band that gave you the Robots Bleed in Bolts and Circuits EP filled with stories of robots, zombies and mad scientists
Now, this spring comes...
CASCA BRIGADA - the sequel, even more thrilling than the original. Even more sex, drugs, blood, alcohol fueled, ADD US!
All jokes aside about sequels, prequels and the-summer-blockbuster-movie-voice guy, we have officially changed our name (and name alone) to Casca Brigada.
We are hoping to pursue a more musically, lyrically and personally mature sound lately - as evidenced by our new acoustic demo 'Retivario B.C.E.'
The song is available for download on our myspace page and soon on our purvolume page.

Add us if you can dig the new musical direction
Constantly in debt to your support,
Casca Brigada (Sean)
